This is the second hire for the team following a recent successful appointment, reflecting continued investment and growth.This is a hands-on senior engineering role with a strong emphasis on back-end development (approximately 80%), while still contributing to the front end (20%). You'll be designing, building and deploying scalable cloud-based applications and APIs within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain scalable Python applications.Build and deploy cloud-native applications and APIs using AWS.Develop and maintain back-end services with occasional front-end development.Design robust integrations between internal and external systems.Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.Contribute to architecture, best practices and technical decision-making.Essential RequirementsMinimum 5 years' commercial experience developing with Python.Minimum 5 years' UK commercial experience.Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including building and deploying cloud-based applications and APIs.Strong commercial experience with Node.js and JavaScript.Proven experience designing and building scalable applications and integrations.Full stack development experience with a primary focus on back-end engineering.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.PackageAnnual bonus of up to 15% (split between individual and company performance).Opportunity to join a growing engineering team with significant influence over technical delivery.APPLY NOW FAST INTERVIEW PROCESS!!!Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
