Position / Specialty: Medical Technologist

Shift: 5x8s, 8a-430p (M-F), weekend and holiday rotation

Is on-call REQ? No call

Weekend REQ: Rotating weekends & holidays -- (Currently every 3rd weekend, this could change)

Required/Preferred: Years of experience REQ: I would prefer applicants with at least 3 years experience

First-timers accepted: yes

Education/Cert Required: Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or relevant medical or scientific discipline. Certification as a Medical Technologist by ASCP BOC or equivalent or relevant specialty lab certification.

Experience Highly Preferred: Micro and Beaker experience. Culture reading, identification, and susceptibility testing

Details on position: Looking for experience in plating, reading Gram stains, and performing rapid molecular testing (BioFire Torch panels and Cepheid assays)

Miscellaneous Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate. RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Medical Technologists support high quality laboratory testing in a clinical laboratory.
