Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatrics, located in Spokane, Washington. This position involves providing respiratory care for adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients within a Level II Trauma Center. The role requires flexibility across units, with a focus on emergency response, ICU, and bedside care, supporting a high-volume short-term acute care facility.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license with at least 2 years of experience, including pediatric respiratory care; certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory procedures, trauma-level experience, experience with electronic charting systems, and working in high-acuity hospital settings
• Float: Float rotation may be required between units, including emergency department and intensive care units
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to perform respiratory procedures including aerosol setup, ventilator management, extubations, and airway management. Knowledge of pulmonary hygiene and emergency response procedures is essential. All candidates must be available for orientation, including 36 hours of orientation before starting.
