OR Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Location: Orange, CA

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a Magnet-designated acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative experience and be comfortable supporting a variety of surgical specialties in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Requirements:

• Active RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• CNOR preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
• First-time travelers may be considered with 5+ years of OR experience

Required Experience:

• Orthopedic Surgery
• Neurosurgery
• Robotic Surgery
• Candidates with experience in at least 2 of the 3 specialties may be considered

Schedule:

• Primarily Monday–Friday shifts
• Rotating weekend coverage as needed
• On-call requirement included, with weekday and weekend call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff
• Support a variety of surgical specialties, including orthopedic, neuro, and robotic procedures
• Ensure adherence to patient safety and quality standards
