If you are currently in Pharmacy School, this would be the perfect opportunity to get your foot in the door with hospitals in the Kansas City Area.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):Assists the Pharmacist in the support of the drug distribution systems, including patient counseling and pharmacokinetic calculationsParticipates in performance improvement and data collection activitiesResponsible for dosage preparation, preparation of sterile admixture using aseptic technique, floor stock delivery, pre-packaging, billing, receiving, and stockingParticipates in providing pharmaceutical care for the following age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatricsOther responsibilities include: inventory control, controlled substances distribution, documentation and accountability, assisting in the inspection of medication storage areas throughout the hospital, and maintaining the cleanliness of the departmentAll responsibilities are performed under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist according to the local board of pharmacy and state regulationsPerforms other tasks as assigned by the PharmacistVerify prescriptions, fill them and package them, take payment, and interact with customersQualificationsBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
