Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth

Shift: Varying Shifts (United States of America)

Standard Weekly Hours: 40

Summary: The Anesthesia Technician assists in the acquisition, preparation and application of anesthesia equipment and supplies, as delegated by a licensed anesthesia provider, based on competencies. They provide this service by preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies before, during and after anesthesia. The Anesthesia Technician demonstrates practical knowledge in all general areas involved in the support of anesthesia. Participates in on-call and off-shift coverage as required by departmental guidelines.

Schedule: Mon.-Wed. 12:00 pm-11:30 pm, and Fri. 6:30 am-5:00 pm.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of previous medical experience in any field.

Certification/Licensure

• BLS certification required.
