Caregivers provide essential support to individuals who need assistance with daily activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. They play a crucial role in helping patients maintain their independence and quality of life by offering both physical and emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care including assistance with daily living activities
- Assist with medication management and reminders
- Support personal hygiene and grooming needs
- Help with mobility and physical movement
- Prepare meals according to dietary requirements
- Offer emotional support and companionship
- Perform household tasks to maintain a safe environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate records of care and patient conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in caregiving
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of patient safety protocols
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to respond effectively in emergencies
- Proven teamwork and collaboration abilities
