Mobile Mechanic

Immediately hiring! Full-time opportunity in Barrow County, GA (based out of Stn. Mtn). New operation starting in July 1st, 2026.

Job summary: The mechanic role is based in Stone Mountain, GA. In this role, the mechanic performs light duty repairs on AMR fleet vehicles, assists senior mechanics, and provides logistical support as assigned. The goal is to reduce downtime and increase the quality and delivery of our services to the crews and our patients. The delivered product is a clean, mechanically sound vehicle inside and out with well-stocked shelves and functioning equipment. It is important that the product produced is maintained to the highest standard.

Essential functions/duties:

• Performs light mechanical and electrical repairs on AMR vehicles.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Provides logistical support for the department. Assists front line mechanics as needed.
• Operates company vehicles in accordance with company policy and safe practices.
• Completes all required paperwork and documentation neatly, correctly, and on time using AMR repair orders.
• Uses maintenance database to document all completed tasks/job assignments.
• Attends all mandatory fleet-related training.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintains safe and clean work area.
• Documentation is complete and neat.
• Accurately accounts for all parts and materials.
• Maintains good working relationship with all personnel and professional conduct with outside contacts.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Minimum qualifications:

• 2 years of basic automotive experience or vocational training.
• Must have a basic set of personal tools.
• Must have a current valid driver's license.
• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.

Experience:

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member.
• Ability to employ discretion and confidentiality in sensitive areas.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions on memos, letters, various documents, and repair manuals.
• Ability to perform the essential job functions.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Basic automotive knowledge and skills necessary to perform maintenance and repairs on company vehicles.
• Must have a full set of personal tools.
