In this role, you will bridge the gap between content operations and product design, collaborating closely with marketers, content strategists, communication designers, product managers, solution architects, and software engineers. You will simplify complex, multi-tiered enterprise publishing operations, translate governance models and component structures into seamless user interfaces, and establish design systems that empower cross-functional teams to produce, review, and deliver digital experiences with speed and precision. Responsibilities Product Design & User Experience: Lead end-to-end design initiatives for content creation, structured editing, editorial review, approval matrices, and live publishing within headless CMS interfaces. Deliver comprehensive UX artifacts including user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready high-fidelity Figma designs. Authoring Frameworks & Design Systems: Partner with core design system teams to map customer-facing UI components and design tokens into intuitive back-end authoring controls, dynamic preview states, operational guardrails, and structured content models. Workflow Optimization & Content Operations: Analyze complex operational processes to eliminate bottlenecks, automate manual handoffs, and optimize workflows across metadata tagging, taxonomy management, localization, and digital asset reuse. Discovery, Research & Validation: Design and lead qualitative and quantitative discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and usability testing sessions with internal content teams to validate prototypes and translate feedback into continuous platform enhancements. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Facilitate alignment across Product Management, Systems Architecture, Engineering, and Business Analysis through technical workshops, story-mapping exercises, and agile sprint rituals to deliver scalable, feasible design solutions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or Service Design for complex, workflow-driven enterprise platforms. 3+ years of dedicated experience designing content-first authoring workflows and administrative interfaces within headless CMS platforms (e.g., Sanity Studio, Contentful). Demonstrated experience with industry-standard design and rapid-prototyping platforms, particularly advanced Figma workflows (auto-layout, components, interactive prototyping). Proven track record in user-centered design methodologies, information architecture, interaction modeling, and agile software delivery. Preferred Qualifications Experience translating structured content principles, taxonomy structures, metadata frameworks, and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems into functional UI patterns. Strong background supporting large-scale, multi-year digital transformation initiatives or platform rebuilds within heavily regulated or enterprise corporate environments. Deep knowledge of modern front-end capabilities, headless content APIs, component-driven development, and technical feasibility constraints.
