Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION \n
\n
\nResponsible for maintaining and servicing all facilities, manufacturing, staking, and auxiliary equipment. It is a non-exempt position that receives general work direction from the Maintenance Manager and Operations Manager. This position interfaces with all levels of the organization.\n
\n
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES \n
\n
\n
- \n
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment. \n
- Assist manufacturing on machines and equipment when necessary. \n
- Perform repairs to minimize downtime, meet production schedules, and minimize interference with other departments. \n
- Perform repairs and maintenance for primary buildings, associated outbuildings, or structures, including but not limited to basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical. \n
- Maintain the integrity and appearance of equipment. \n
- Troubleshoot and debug problems within electrical enclosures including relay logic and PLC's. \n
- Participate as a member of a Project Team and/or Cross Functional Team as required. \n
- Support and Advance a LEAN culture of implementing & maintaining an effective continuous Improvement program throughout the organization in order to improve value to customers, shareholders and employees. \n
- Have flexible scheduling availability as it relates to changing business needs. \n
- Perform other related duties as required. \n

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS \n
\n
\n
- \n
- High school diploma / GED required (AND) two or more years of experience in injection molding machine repair in a manufacturing environment (OR) an equivalent combination of education and experience. \n
\n
\n
- \n
- Ability to lift and carry between 10-50 lbs. consistently with a minimum of five to six times in an hour, and weights up to 200 lbs. using hand trucks. \n
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time. \n
- This position requires repetitive reaching, stretching, lifting and twisting. \n
- Working conditions include some dust, dirt, noise, with restricted workspaces, but not to the point of being objectionable. \n

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES \n
\n
\n
- \n
- Trade school / technical certifications and/or degree preferred. \n
- Need initiative and hands-on experience to resolve problems and able to work as a member of a team. \n
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated. \n
- Ability to identify, analyze, and correct unforeseen facilities and equipment maintenance related issues. \n
- Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment and components within all buildings. \n
- Must be familiar with PLC and automated assembly and packaging equipment, injection molding machines and other related equipment. \n
- Knowledge of various injection molding machines, including but not limited to Nissei. \n
- Must have basic working knowledge of electricity and electrical components. \n
- Must be familiar with Lock-out Tag-out procedures and electrical work safety standards codes \n
- Knowledge of material drying system functionality and components. \n
- Familiarity and practical application knowledge of Microsoft Office®, including but not limited to PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred. \n

\n2nd Shift: 4pm-12am\n
\n40 Hours
