Radiation Therapist
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering radiation treatment to patients in an acute care setting. This role does not require call duties and offers a daytime schedule.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation treatments to patients according to prescribed plans.
- Monitor patient reactions and provide support throughout treatment.
- Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation using Epic.
- Follow safety protocols and best practices while operating radiation equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- State and National Certification as a Radiation Therapist.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule
This position involves a 5-day work week with 8-hour shifts, from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM.
