About the Position

Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service is required. Preferred 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery service. License: Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is required. Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification is required. Must-Have: Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing. Description: This position involves working in a Level IV Client Designation facility. The facility consists of 20 LDR suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 Triage rooms, 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 14 monitored Ante-partum rooms. It is an academic teaching service as well as a large private OB practice. The delivery service is high-risk and fast-paced, performing over 500 deliveries per month. 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage are provided. A Perinatal Transport Program is also in place. Expansion to a new Women's Tower is anticipated in mid-2026. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
