Corporate Development Associate

Rapidly growing direct lender looking for an associate to join the corporate development team. Company Information: An industry-leading direct lender to sponsor backed middle market companies with over $80 billion in AUM. Job Description: Supporting high-impact growth initiatives within the Corporate Development team through financial modeling and strategic analysis for senior leadership. Building and maintaining detailed financial models and valuation analyses. Preparing presentations, insights, and recommendations for senior management. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external advisors, including banks, consultants, accountants, and legal counsel. Assisting with the evaluation, planning, and execution of new business lines and strategic transactions. Developing expertise in the firm, the direct lending market, and the broader asset management industry by monitoring market and industry trends. Requirements / Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in investment banking or corporate development at a leading investment bank or buy-side firm. Strong quantitative, financial modeling, and analytical capabilities. Prior experience in financial services and/or asset management strongly preferred. Demonstrated interest in corporate development and strategic initiatives. High intellectual curiosity with the ability to develop and execute innovative solutions to complex business challenges. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable engaging with senior executives, business leaders, and external partners.
