Overview Join our team as an onsite School Speech‑Language Pathologist in Carson City, MI for the 2026‑27 school year. We are hiring licensed Michigan SLPs and will assist applicants from other states in obtaining licensure. Position Details Start Date: August 2026 for the 2026‑27 school year Hours: Full‑time (7.25 hours/day) Grade Levels: Pre‑K to 12 (3 locations) Credentials: MI SLP license and DOE required Compensation: Starting at $56/hour, commensurate with experience Location: Carson City, MI – onsite only Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities. Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results. Provide direct therapy, targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support communication goals. Use evidence‑based techniques and therapeutic activities during sessions. Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes. Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and related information accurately and timely. Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist. Current ASHA certification. Passion for working with K‑12 students. Experience providing speech‑language therapy in a school or pediatric setting. Proficiency with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques common to pediatric speech‑language pathology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, parents, and staff. Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail. Experience in teletherapy (preferred).
