Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) RN position in Alabaster, Alabama. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the cardiovascular department, supporting procedures in the Cath Lab, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The position is a contract opportunity with a reputable healthcare provider, focusing on delivering high-quality cardiac care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 4x10 hours, from 07:00 to 17:30, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications; 3+ years of experience in a Cath Lab setting; located in or willing to commute to Alabaster, Alabama.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Philips X-ray, Merge HEMO Charting systems; EP (Electrophysiology) experience is a plus.
• Additional Information: The role includes working with cardiac patients in a specialized unit equipped with four Cath Lab rooms, patient ratios of 1:1, utilizing EPIC electronic medical records, and supporting a wide range of cardiovascular procedures. Dress code requires scrubs in Ceil Blue or Navy, with no unacceptable attire. The position involves working one weekend every four weeks and at least one day per week, with call responsibilities only during weekends.
