As a Security Officer Bank Rover Part Time in Phoenix, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Fri 08:30 AM – 05:30 PM

How This Role Works:

+ Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior and exterior of the location, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor processing, and follow post orders related to restricted or sensitive spaces.

+ Complete required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation, and communicate notable activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A current guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
