Merchandiser/Cashier

Compensation Pay Range: $16.90 - $24.90. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual and quarterly performance premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Responsibilities Greet customers on the sales floor and direct them to merchandise or parts specialists. Check out customers and deter shoplifters. Keep the front area stocked, fronted, and clean; stock merchandise according to planograms or displays and complete sales preparation. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns. Work with manager to complete the store To‑Do List and Team Weekly tasks. Act as the main shop‑lifting deterrent/front floor security. Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities. Clock in/out according to company policy. Handle merchandise returns in a friendly and efficient manner. Assist customers on the express lane or busy counter when necessary. Skills & Qualifications Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Good organizational skills. Previous cashier and/or stocking experience (desired). Ability to drive a manual‑transmission vehicle (desired). Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired. Benefits and Compensation Competitive wages. Paid Time Off.
