Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 09/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) specializing in inpatient care is sought for a facility located in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role involves performing selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will treat patients across various age groups using modalities and exercises aligned with individualized treatment plans, ensuring patient needs are met within their scope of practice. The position requires dedication to maintaining a clean and organized department environment, completing all necessary documentation, and providing patient care primarily during daytime hours. Job Details: Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS (AHA); State Licenses: Oklahoma. Candidates must have recent traveler experience preferred, and at least 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation and PTA experience are required. Preferred Qualifications: Recent traveler experience is highly preferred. Additional Information: The candidate will assist in maintaining departmental organization, document daily notes and discharge data, and provide care to a diverse patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Flexibility with some weekends and holidays may be required.
