Legal Assistant | Commercial Real Estate & Title Experience Required | Ridgeland, Mississippi | $60,000 — $65,000 | Full Time

Commercial real estate transactions do not close themselves. Behind every deal there are title commitments to review, closing packages to coordinate, deeds to record and a hundred moving parts that have to come together perfectly. A national law firm in Ridgeland, Mississippi needs a Legal Assistant who has managed that complexity before and can do it again without missing a beat.
You will support the Transactions practice group on commercial real estate and forestry matters including title work, real estate closings, post-closing activities, UCC filings and lender coordination while keeping every transaction organized, compliant and on time.
What you need to bring:
- 5 to 10 years of real estate legal experience in a law firm environment
- Experience coordinating real estate closings including title commitments, closing statements and fund disbursement
- Strong organizational, communication and attention to detail skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
- College degree preferred
- Certified Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Notary certification preferred
- Land use experience is a plus
