Legal Assistant | Commercial Real Estate & Title Experience Required | Ridgeland, Mississippi | $60,000 — $65,000 | Full Time
$60,000 to $65,000 a year plus bonuses

Commercial real estate transactions do not close themselves. Behind every deal there are title commitments to review, closing packages to coordinate, deeds to record and a hundred moving parts that have to come together perfectly. A national law firm in Ridgeland, Mississippi needs a Legal Assistant who has managed that complexity before and can do it again without missing a beat.
You will support the Transactions practice group on commercial real estate and forestry matters including title work, real estate closings, post-closing activities, UCC filings and lender coordination while keeping every transaction organized, compliant and on time.
What you need to bring:
5 to 10 years of real estate legal experience in a law firm environment
Experience coordinating real estate closings including title commitments, closing statements and fund disbursement
Strong organizational, communication and attention to detail skills
Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
College degree preferred
Certified Paralegal Certificate preferred
Notary certification preferred
Land use experience is a plus
