Job Summary

Bountiful Acres has been serving Bucks County for over 65 years, providing landscape design, nursery, and retail services. We are a local family-owned company currently seeking cashiers to work in our retail garden shop and provide excellent customer service. Cashiers are usually the first and last employee customers interact with. They set the tone for the shopping experience and are the last impression on every guest. Candidates should demonstrate a desire to learn, have a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment. 

 

Responsibilities 

• Greet every customer and provide assistance when necessary.
• Answering phones in a friendly manner and directing calls using a multi-line system.

• Process transactions, collect payments, and make change using a POS equipment. 

• Promote special events, sales, etc. 

• Assist with pricing, stocking, and merchandising product.

• Daily housekeeping duties to ensure the store is neat and welcoming.

• Other projects and tasks as needed (ex. watering plants).

Qualifications

• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
• Willingness to work well in a team environment
• Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
