Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

Job Description

The Telemetry Unit specializes in the care of cardiac and neuro patients, supporting a diverse patient population in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Provide post-operative care to patients after procedures such as heart catheterizations, pacemakers, and valve repairs.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Respond to patient needs effectively and efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of California.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke certification preferred.
• Must have proficiency in EKG interpretation, IV start, and chest tube management.
