Take Ur Seat Lite Redlands is looking for a Front of the House team member. They are the first face customers see upon arriving. They play a crucial role creating a welcoming atmosphere. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working. Hourly wage starts at $16.50/hr with tips sharing. Responsibilities Welcome guests by determining their coffee interests and needs. Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order. Take orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products. Have extensive knowledge of the current menu and a friendly attitude while taking orders. Create a culture of family and warmth. Prepare and sell coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as espresso-based drinks (cappuccino, lattes), drip and cold brew. Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee bar supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining inventory, and paper goods. Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining cleaning supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. Improve coffee quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar. Keep entire work area neat and clean including bussing tables, wiping tables and chairs, and sweeping/cleaning floors. Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude. Issue bills and accept payment. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to listen and communicate effectively. Able to multitask efficiently and have strong organizational skills.
