Personal Property Specialist

SOSi is seeking a Personal Property Specialist to play a key role in supporting a 24/7/365 operational program by ensuring accurate inventory management, smooth material flow, and clear communication across operational departments. This position helps maintain personal property inventories and operational accuracy through proactive tracking, reporting, and collaboration. The Personal Property Specialist will be responsible for all aspects related to security, safekeeping, and proper inventory of personal property.

Responsibilities include safeguarding, storing, and logging property into property accounting system; accurately retrieving and issuing property; assisting in managing/investigating/reconciling inventory discrepancies; participating in periodic inventory counts; and sending inventory-related communications to all appropriate parties and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related job experience
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have lived in the US for 3 out the past 5 years
• Basic data entry skills
• Ability to pass an SSBI government background investigation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently or within a team

Work environment includes shift work required, in-person and on-site work, periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary, ability to work efficiently under deadlines and pressure, and ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
