Job Opportunity – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am), Monday through Friday with 2-3 weekend shifts required per 6-week scheduling period

• Patient ratios typically 1:3; interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and more
• Model patient- and family-centered care environment focused on infants across the continuum from admission to discharge
• Float opportunities to pediatric units caring for patients less than 12 months of age

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact state license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years total NICU Level III/IV experience, with at least 1 full year in a Level IV NICU required
• Epic charting system experience required
• BLS and NRP certifications required (American Heart Association only)
• PALS certification preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with post-operative patients, g-tubes, tracheostomy/ventilator management, and various modes of invasive/noninvasive ventilation
• Proficiency in neonatal dosage calculations, IV vasopressors, high-frequency ventilation, therapeutic hypothermia, and advanced NICU procedures
• Must pass telemetry competency exam with strict passing criteria (80% minimum; 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
