Python Data Engineer

Python Data Engineer (Entry - Mid Level) Location: Tampa, FL Onsite: Expected to go onsite (into a SCIF) up to 5 days per week Clearance: TS/SCI (no poly required) If you do NOT have a US Citizenship or a Security Clearance issued by a US Government Customer, we will likely not get back to you. It is a REQUIREMENT of the job. Black Cape is a technology company focused on full‑stack web applications, advanced data analysis tools, and AI/ML capabilities for federal government customers. Our teams develop mission‑critical solutions on aggressive schedules under DoW and IC programs. Requirements Must have a Bachelor’s degree Must have a TS/SCI clearance (no poly required) 0-5 years of professional development experience Strong experience with Python Experience with at least one relational database, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or sqlite3 Experience working with agile software development teams Experience working in classified government environments Experience developing on MacOS, Windows, and Linux Familiarity with database query languages including SQL Familiarity with Linux systems including RedHat‑based distributions Preferred (Nice to Haves) Experience with ETL techniques Experience with data tools such as NiFi, AirFlow Experience with NoSQL storage like Elasticsearch, Accumulo, or MongoDB Experience with containers, Docker, and Kubernetes Experience with AWS Console including EC2 management Background communicating to senior stakeholders in a classified environment CompTIA Security+ certification Great Benefits | 401K | Competitive Salary | Generous Time Off | Exceptional Team‑Building & Fun Company Events | Mentorship & Professional Development Programs | Tuition Reimbursement | Parental Policy #J-18808-Ljbffr Black Cape
