Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

We are excited to invite passionate and motivated attorneys licensed in Kentucky, West Virginia, and/or Ohio to join our creditor’s rights practice. As a highly respected and growing national firm based in Phoenix, Arizona, our Financial Services Central Division maintains offices in Solon, Ohio and Ft. Wright, Kentucky, with plans to open an office in West Virginia soon. We are seeking a Bankruptcy Associate Attorney licensed in Kentucky and West Virginia (Ohio and/or Indiana also a plus) with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated, thrive with minimal supervision, and be driven to achieve their monthly goals. Key Responsibilities Represent clients at bankruptcy hearings throughout the states of Kentucky and West Virginia Manage a large caseload Draft motions, briefs and other legal documents Manage and coordinate with your team To perform this job successfully, the right candidate must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of secured creditor Bankruptcy issues. Demonstrates strong business and legal judgment skills, with a focus on analytical, organizational, and practical problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work well in a team environment both in person and remote. High quality, effective, professional verbal, and written communication skills. Knowledge of the national mortgage servicing industry and standard law firm case management systems is a plus. Outgoing personality who enjoys interaction with courts, clients, and team members. Detail oriented and able to work well under pressure with accuracy and poise. Practical working knowledge of modern technology and the ability to use it effectively. Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to multi‑task while maintaining a positive culture. Ability to organize workload and manage cases in a rapid‑paced environment. A strong understanding of the FDCPA, or a willingness to learn. Highest ethical standards and a strong work ethic. Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school. Admission to the practice of law in Kentucky and West Virginia. Admission in Ohio and/or Indiana is a plus. Admission to US District and Bankruptcy courts in the states of Kentucky and West Virginia. Admission in Ohio and/or Indiana is a plus. Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to court appearances. At least one to five years of bankruptcy experience in real estate, foreclosure, and/or other creditor rights practice areas. #J-18808-Ljbffr
