Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Rockville, MD . This is a 13+ weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. Job Details: Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Location: Rockville, MD 20850 Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 13+ weeks Pay Range: $22 - 25/hour* *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. Duties: Perform blood specimen collection from patients across the pediatric through geriatric age range . Perform venipuncture and ensure specimens are collected safely and accurately. Register patients and accurately enter patient information into the appropriate system. Maintain accurate patient manifests and patient/specimen logs. Ensure proper specimen identification, documentation, and handling. Provide professional, patient-centered service throughout the collection process. Communicate effectively with patients and address their needs during specimen collection. Complete approximately 20–30 draws per day while maintaining quality and accuracy. Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Years of experience: Minimum 2-4 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED Skills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections . Interested? Apply Today!
