Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member Full Time in Chicago - IL With 30+ years of established service, our State Farm Insurance Agency is seeking an Insurance Licensed Customer Service Rep - State Farm Agent Team Membe r to support existing customers and grow the business through meaningful relationship conversations. This role involves inbound and outbound customer contact, outreach, relationship maintenance, and proactive conversations to drive retention and additional sales. Licensing Insurance Producer Licenses are required, though not mandatory—if you don’t have them, we’ll help guide you on how to obtain the necessary licenses. Responsibilities Contact customers for renewals, coverage options, and ongoing support Review policies/accounts and recommend updates to address coverage gaps Cross-sell additional products based on customer needs Identify opportunities to improve satisfaction and engagement Provide timely quotes and follow up within the same business day when possible Maintain accurate customer records and documentation Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure efficient, accurate processing Represent the agency at occasional community events Build a referral network center of influence and generate leads Create and contribute to customer reviews (including social media) Qualifications Illinois Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance Licenses required (must possess or be able to acquire asap) Insurance agency knowledge and experience helpful Strong communication skills (verbal + written) and persuasive customer conversations Natural relationship-builder—friendly, empathetic, and patient Calm under pressure; proactive problem-solver Coachable with a positive, “can-do” attitude Reliable, strong work ethic, and fast learner Comfortable handling phone/computer work all day Prefer candidates who are within a 30-minute commute to our office Base pa y (doe) Incentive comp based on production Paid time off (personal/holidays) Profit sharing plan License fees reimbursed after 6 months (if unlicensed) Total compensation = (Base pay + unlimited incentive pay), which is determined by your production , skills , licenses , education , and experience .
