Description We are currently seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in data analytics and product development to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career in Ashburn, VA. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain ML models for various AI applications. Continuously refine models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and insights. Develop hypotheses, design experiments, and validate findings using statistical methods. Develop and maintain robust data pipelines ensuring data quality and usability. Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data infrastructure. Support AI product development from prototyping to deployment and monitoring. Work with product managers, designers, and QA teams to integrate AI features. Implement monitoring and alerting for AI model performance and product KPIs. Conduct ongoing maintenance to ensure accuracy and reliability. Work collaboratively within a large, Agile development team. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, +4 years of experience; or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, +2 years of experience. Experience working on AI, machine learning, or data analytics projects. Proven track record of developing and deploying AI/ML models in a production environment. Experience with product development life cycles and Agile methodologies is a plus. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java. Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Experience with MLOps pipelines and CI/CD. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, and data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop. Experience using analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, Plotly). Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for model deployment and data storage (preferred). Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 3-4 years of experience preferred. Customer Requirements: Clearance – Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation. Citizenship – Must be a US Citizen.
