Senior Content Producer – Automotive & Social Media

Andover, MA | Londonderry, NH | Marlborough, MA | Full-Time

Compensation: $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and portfolio

The Opportunity

Automotive Elegance is looking for a full-time Senior Content Producer to take ownership of the day-to-day visual content coming out of our Andover, Londonderry, and Marlborough locations. We are not looking for someone who simply knows how to make a Reel, take a nice photograph, or manage a social media calendar. We are looking for someone who can learn our business, recognize stories without having them pointed out, and help take our digital presence to an entirely different level.

We already have the facilities, technicians, vehicles, customers, dealership relationships, equipment, expertise, and volume. What we have not consistently had is someone capable of capturing all of that and turning it into a steady flow of professional, interesting, educational, and relevant content. The simplest way to describe this position is that your job is to make Automotive Elegance look online like the company we already are in real life.

The Role

This is a hands-on position that will require spending significantly more time inside our shops, around vehicles, technicians, customers, and projects than sitting behind a desk. You will be expected to understand what is happening throughout the company, review schedules, communicate with our team, and independently determine where the strongest content opportunities exist.

If Londonderry has a unique Porsche being completed, Andover has an important customer delivery, and Marlborough has several more routine projects, we should not have to tell you where your day would be best spent. We want someone who can look ahead, understand what is happening across all three locations, and structure their time accordingly. You will report directly to our General Sales Manager, while working closely with the owner on brand direction, customer education, messaging, and larger creative initiatives.

Creativity and Efficiency

Creativity matters tremendously in this position, but so does speed. Automotive Elegance is a high-volume company, and interesting vehicles, transformations, installations, customer deliveries, and educational opportunities happen throughout our facilities every day. We are not looking for someone who spends an entire week editing one video while everything else happening throughout the business goes undocumented.

Some projects absolutely deserve additional production time, including larger brand pieces, important customer stories, advertising campaigns, dealership features, and unique vehicles. At the same time, not every Reel, Story, installation clip, or customer delivery needs to become a major production. The right person understands the difference and can move efficiently from filming to editing to publishing while the content is still relevant.

Storytelling and Brand Standards

We are looking for someone who knows how to find a story rather than simply make a post. Some of what we do may appear repetitive from the outside, but a strong content producer should see the craftsmanship, personalities, education, and customer experiences happening inside those processes. There is a story in an installer finishing a difficult edge, a customer seeing a completed vehicle for the first time, or a technician explaining why a particular process matters.

There is absolutely a place for personality and humor, but our priority is establishing a strong foundation of professional, credible, educational, and visually compelling content. We want people to understand that Automotive Elegance takes its work seriously before entertainment becomes part of the brand personality.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review production schedules and determine where the strongest content opportunities exist across Andover, Londonderry, and Marlborough.
• Plan your own time across multiple locations without waiting for a daily list of assignments.
• Photograph and film vehicles, installation processes, technicians, customers, facilities, dealership projects, deliveries, and events.
• Create and edit Reels, Stories, short-form video, photography, educational content, testimonials, interviews, product demonstrations, and longer-form content when appropriate.
• Maintain a consistent weekly flow of content and move efficiently from filming to editing to final delivery.
• Understand which projects warrant quick-turn content and which deserve a significantly higher level of production.
• Capture before-and-after transformations, vehicle reveals, customer reactions, installation details, quality-control processes, and behind-the-scenes activity.
• Conduct interviews with customers, employees, technicians, dealership partners, and other potential brand ambassadors, while coaching people who may not naturally be comfortable on camera.
• Turn technical information about PPF, ceramic coatings, paint correction, window tint, marine projects, residential window film, and other services into understandable customer-facing content.
• Create content designed specifically to support the sales process and help prospective customers understand Automotive Elegance before they ever contact us.
• Showcase the volume and variety of work happening across all of our locations so our online presence accurately reflects the size and experience of the company.
• Build organized vehicle-specific content libraries that allow our sales team to quickly show customers examples of similar vehicles and completed projects.
• Maintain photography, finished video, and valuable raw footage in an organized Dropbox structure.
• Work directly with our Marketing Firm to continuously provide fresh photography and video for paid advertising, websites, landing pages, social campaigns, and other digital initiatives.
• Stay current with social media formats, editing techniques, platforms, audio trends, equipment, software, and emerging content opportunities.
• Recommend equipment, software, or production tools when they will materially improve the quality or efficiency of our content.
• Review content performance and use those results to improve future creative decisions.
• Provide the Sales Manager and Owner with a concise weekly update covering what was produced, what performed, what was learned, and what content opportunities are coming next.
• Take ownership of deadlines, organization, output, and follow-through without requiring constant oversight.

Content That Supports the Business

Our goal is not simply to gain followers, likes, or views. We want prospective customers to encounter Automotive Elegance online and already feel that there is something different about the company before anyone from our sales team ever speaks with them. Our content should show the cleanliness of our facilities, the experience of our technicians, the volume of vehicles moving through the company, the preparation behind an installation, the quality of our finished work, and the standards we hold ourselves to.

A significant amount of customer education currently happens one conversation at a time through our sales process. Strong content should help make that process easier by allowing customers to already understand our expertise, products, process, and philosophy before that first conversation takes place.

Who We Are Looking For

The right person is creative but organized, independent but coachable, quality-focused but efficient, and confident enough to bring ideas forward while still taking direction well. We need someone who can manage their own time, prioritize opportunities, ask questions, solve problems, and continue moving without someone constantly checking behind them.

A strong portfolio is important, but we are equally interested in how efficiently you work. We want to see both highly polished projects that demonstrate your creative ceiling and high-frequency social content that shows you can consistently produce strong work without treating every 30-second Reel like a national commercial.

Experience and Qualifications

• Strong experience with photography, videography, lighting, audio, composition, interviewing, video editing, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, or comparable professional editing platforms.
• A strong understanding of modern short-form content and efficient editing workflows.
• Automotive experience is helpful but not mandatory; curiosity, organization, accountability, efficiency, and storytelling ability matter more.
• Portfolio Required

Applicants should be prepared to submit examples of both polished production work and consistent short-form social content. One beautiful commercial does not tell us whether someone can keep pace with Automotive Elegance, just as producing a high volume of mediocre content does not tell us whether someone can properly represent the brand. We are looking for someone capable of balancing both sides.

How Success Will Be Measured

Success in this position will not be measured by whether one video happens to go viral. We will look at whether Automotive Elegance is consistently producing relevant content, whether all three locations are being represented, whether content is being published while it is still timely, and whether the quality and quantity of our digital presence are beginning to match what is actually happening inside the company.

We will also look at whether our content library is becoming more useful, whether our Marketing Firm has a consistent supply of strong creative assets, whether our sales team has better tools to educate customers, and whether customers increasingly come into conversations already understanding why Automotive Elegance is different.

Schedule, Travel and Compensation

This is a full-time, hands-on position requiring regular travel between our Andover, MA, Londonderry, NH, and Marlborough, MA locations. Occasional travel to dealership partners, customer locations, Cars & Coffee events, car shows, special deliveries, industry events, and other Automotive Elegance projects will also be required. Most work will take place during normal business hours, although some flexibility will be necessary for occasional evenings or weekends when an important content opportunity warrants it.

Compensation for this position is $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and portfolio. This compensation reflects the level of ownership, creative ability, production capability, efficiency, and independence we expect from the role. This is not an entry-level social media coordinator position; we are looking for an experienced, hands-on creative professional who can ultimately become the internal content production engine behind Automotive Elegance.

We are not looking for someone to simply maintain our social media accounts. We want someone who can walk into one of our facilities and recognize opportunities that the rest of us may walk past because we see them every day, then have the creativity and efficiency to turn those moments into something meaningful.

We want someone who understands that a great piece of content can be a highly produced brand video, but it can also be an intelligently captured 20-second moment that gets edited and published that afternoon.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of this and help make sure the outside world finally sees the company that already exists behind the camera.
