• 1,600 billable hour minimum

Poole Huffman, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney to join our growing litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex commercial litigation matters, bankruptcy proceedings, and post-judgment collection efforts on behalf of creditors, lenders, and businesses. Strong analytical skills, courtroom confidence, and the ability to manage cases independently are essential.

About the Role

What you’ll do:

• Manage a caseload from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
• Conduct hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances
• Handle post-judgment collection and enforcement proceedings
• Represent creditors, lenders, and businesses in bankruptcy matters
• Analyze financial records, collateral positions, and recovery strategies
• Negotiate settlements, payment arrangements, and workout agreements
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Participate in business development and client relationship management
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff in a fast-paced litigation environment

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of business litigation experience
• Confident managing cases independently from day one
• Strong writer and strategic thinker
• Comfortable in the courtroom and in front of clients
• A book of business is a plus, but not required
• A genuine interest in building client relationships is required
• High ownership mindset and high accountability
