Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and devise tailored treatment plans that promote well-being.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing effective therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches depending on clients’ unique circumstances.
• Cultivate therapeutic relationships by setting client goals collaboratively and systematically tracking their progress toward these objectives.
• Provide flexible teletherapy services to clients facing accessibility barriers, ensuring consistent support regardless of location.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards to uphold our commitment to professionalism and client confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, enhancing your skills and knowledge of current therapeutic practices to continually improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at White Chair Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will be instrumental in providing them with the necessary tools to cope effectively with their challenges and foster resilience in their personal lives.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license is required: such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychotherapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and establish strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward client experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, proficient in balancing a caseload while adhering to administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a private practice setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, particularly evidence-based practices relevant to adult and adolescent populations.
• Background in trauma-informed care and the ability to address complex mental health issues effectively.

• Competitive annual salary within the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload size.
