Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is hiring a Transmission/Heavy Line Technician for immediate hire. With record?breaking performance month after month and big plans heading into 2026, now is the perfect time to join a dealership on the rise.
In this role, you'll handle the complex, heavy?line repairs that keep our service department movingsupporting apprentice and lube technicians while taking ownership of the big jobs that require true expertise. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who takes pride in high?level automotive repair and thrives in a fast?paced new?car dealership environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose automotive problems as they arise
- Conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts
- Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process
- Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience
- FCA Certified is preferred but not required
- Driver's License
- Personal Tools
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
