Food Service Worker - School Division

TNG at Minersville is hiring for the 26-27 school year. Training begins in August and school starts August 24th. We have two positions open at the high school. We need a morning breakfast cart attendant and a cafe breakfast server. Both positions start at 7 AM. Get in early and get out early! Pay is based on experience. Daylight hours- Monday-Friday- no evenings- no weekends- holidays off- PTO- 401 K.

About the job:

This position will be working in a local school kitchen/cafeteria.

Duties may include:

• Cooking and food preparation
• Portioning and serving
• Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines
• HAACP and health department regulation compliance
• Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls

Qualifications:

• The ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
• A positive and consistent work ethic
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• A willingness to learn and grow within your position
• Food service experience preferred
• Computer literacy preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Physical requirements may include:

• Standing for long periods of time
• Sitting, pushing, pulling
• Lifting up to and in excess of 40lbs
• Walking
