Contract | Rotating Shifts (Day/Night) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level IV Trauma, STEMI-receiving, and Stroke-designated Emergency Department
• Manage and monitor patients in a 4-bed, 2-trauma-bay department averaging approximately 10 patients per day
• Independently read and interpret telemetry strips using Mindray monitoring equipment
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment including ventilators, CPAP, BiPap, and high-flow devices
• Float to Med/Surg and Swing Bed unit as needed
• Work collaboratively with ED physicians and charge nurses, including during holds intermixed within the ER

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Previous Med/Surg experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts (7a–7p and 7p–7a) including every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Experience working in a small or critical access Emergency Department setting
