Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an Operating Room position, requiring 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room unit supporting GYN, general, urology, ENT, ortho, neuro spine, podiatry, vascular, and robotics cases
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday with 0700, 0930, and 1000 start times
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience required
• State license required if applicable
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 1 travel contract completed preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Work history/resume required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required for consideration
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required for consideration

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary team to support patient care
• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months will not be considered
• Local candidates accepted with a 10% rate reduction; otherwise candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
• Facility is a Level 3 trauma center
• Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time-off requests permitted during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods
