Materials Management Clinical Coordinator - Full-Time Day Shift

Schedule Monday - Friday | Day Shift | 40 hours per week. What You’ll Do Solicits clinical supply bids, analyzes, presents and develops strategy for implementation of supply changes approved by the SURP committee, of which this position is the chair. Enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans for evaluations and conversions that affect manufacturer production and change at the system level including communication, education, distribution and inventory. Coordinates procedures for supply conversion and inventory management with Purchasing and Central Supply to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Familiar with a variety of Materials Management concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Reports to Supply Chain Operations Manager. Expects a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting (ICU, Medical/Surgical or Emergency Department nursing preferred). Bachelor's degree in nursing or other clinical discipline and/or management preferred.
