Tenz Electric Co. is looking for an experienced Electrical Service Dispatcher to join our growing home-services team.

We are looking for someone who understands that dispatching is much more than putting technicians on a schedule. The right person will be responsible for maximizing technician productivity, protecting the customer experience, managing the daily board, and making sure the right technician gets to the right call at the right time.

What You'll Do

• Manage the daily electrical service dispatch board in ServiceTitan
• Dispatch technicians efficiently based on location, skill set, availability, job type, and priority
• Monitor the board throughout the day and continuously adjust the schedule as conditions change
• Minimize technician windshield time and maximize productive time in the field
• Communicate with technicians throughout the day regarding job status, delays, additional opportunities, and customer needs
• Coordinate emergency and priority service calls
• Monitor scheduled arrival windows and proactively communicate schedule changes to customers
• Work closely with CSRs, technicians, management, and sales to keep jobs moving
• Identify opportunities to fill schedule gaps and increase technician utilization
• Help ensure sold work is completed and collected whenever possible
• Track callbacks, return trips, cancellations, reschedules, and other issues that impact profitability
• Maintain accurate job information and customer notes in ServiceTitan
• Assist with same-day scheduling and completion of approved electrical work
• Escalate customer, technician, or operational issues when necessary
• Help maintain a culture of same-day service and same-day completion
• Protect the customer experience while maintaining operational efficiency

What We're Looking For

Required

• Previous experience as a service dispatcher in residential home services
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceTitan
• Experience dispatching electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or another home-service trade preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to make quick decisions and reprioritize throughout the day
• Strong computer skills
• Professional telephone and customer-service skills
• Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented when the schedule gets challenging

Electrical Experience Is a Major Plus

You don't necessarily need to be an electrician, but you should understand residential service well enough to recognize the difference between:

• Troubleshooting calls
• Electrical repairs
• Panel/service work
• Whole-home electrical upgrades
• Generators
• EV chargers
• Code-related issues
• Safety concerns
• Emergency calls

Understanding the trade allows you to make better dispatch decisions and communicate more effectively with technicians and customers.
