Activity Therapist

Full‑time, 5x8 or 4x10 – Must be available to work one weekend day.

How you’ll contribute

• Conduct assessment and establish recreational therapy treatment goals and objectives to meet the individual needs of patients.
• Evaluate each patient’s progress and the effectiveness of recreational therapy interventions.
• Coordinate therapeutic activities for both large and small groups to observe patient response and encourage socialization.
• Provide patient and patient’s family with information regarding leisure lifestyles and create awareness of resources in their community.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, or Movement Therapy.
• Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Board Certified Music Therapist (MT‑BS) in Ohio.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
