Activity Therapist, Behavioral Health

Activity Therapist Full‑time, 5x8 or 4x10 – Must be available to work one weekend day. How you’ll contribute Conduct assessment and establish recreational therapy treatment goals and objectives to meet the individual needs of patients. Evaluate each patient’s progress and the effectiveness of recreational therapy interventions. Coordinate therapeutic activities for both large and small groups to observe patient response and encourage socialization. Provide patient and patient’s family with information regarding leisure lifestyles and create awareness of resources in their community. Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Board Certified Music Therapist (MT‑BS) in Ohio. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
