Enterprise Network Systems Administrator

Talent Discovery Specialist @ HireTalent | Expert in Technical Recruiting We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Network Systems Administrator (ENSA) to help design, maintain, and secure enterprise-wide network infrastructure. This role works under the direction of a Principal Network Systems Administrator (PNSA) and plays a critical role in aligning network operations with business goals. What You’ll Do As an ENSA, you’ll be responsible for the health, security, and performance of enterprise networks, including: Managing and maintaining enterprise computer systems and network infrastructure Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software Supporting and enhancing cybersecurity measures Monitoring network performance and resolving issues proactively Maintaining systems including VPNs, routers, mainframes, and physical network hardware Updating virus protection and security tools to safeguard data and communications Collaborating with IT teams and business users to identify system needs and resolve issues Supporting end users, including training and documentation where needed Creating user guides and instruction manuals for network usage Required Skills & Experience Experience 5+ years of broad experience with networking services and protocols 3+ years (within the last 4 years) as a Network Systems Administrator or similar role 2+ years (within the last 4 years) in a security monitoring role Education Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Equivalent experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis) Core Competencies Problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making Project management, risk management, and quality assurance Configuration, data, and information management IT architecture, performance assessment, and technology planning Technical Skills Experience with tools and platforms such as: Cisco ATA, ACI, APIC, Prime, VoIP Call Manager CACTI, eCloud, Elastic Search, ITM, Open NMS nGenius, NetScout, SCOM, UTR McAfee, MVISION StruxureWare, SecureWorks WAF Wireshark, Web CTRL Preferred Skills Cisco controller-based wireless solutions Meraki technologies Seniority level Associate Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries Software Development and Government Administration #J-18808-Ljbffr HireTalent - Staffing & Recruiting Firm
