Product Assembler
As a Product Assembler, you will work on a new production line with multiple stations, assembling components, securing them with power tools, and ensuring each finished product meets quality standards before packaging. You will follow defined steps at your assigned station, use basic electrical assembly techniques, and contribute directly to the efficient and accurate completion of customer-ready products.
Responsibilities
- Work on a new product line consisting of six stations, each responsible for two to three steps in the assembly process.
- Assemble components by putting pieces together according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Secure assembled parts using a drill or torque wrench while maintaining consistent quality and torque specifications.
- Perform basic electrical assembly tasks, including wiring, crimping, and soldering, as required for each product.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to complete assigned assembly steps accurately.
- Operate at the final testing station by hooking up completed assemblies and performing go/no-go tests to verify functionality.
- Identify and report any defects or issues discovered during assembly or testing and follow established procedures for resolution.
- Package and palletize completed products after they pass testing, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
- Use an iPad or similar device to navigate work instructions, record production data, or access digital documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and quality guidelines.
- Stand and perform repetitive assembly tasks for 810 hours per day while handling items up to 20 pounds.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- At least 1 year of experience using a drill or torque wrench in an assembly setting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, including wiring, crimping, and soldering.
- Ability to use an iPad or similar device to navigate digital instructions or production tools.
- Capability to stand for 810 hours per day and repeatedly handle items weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following standardized assembly and testing procedures.
- Ability to work effectively at an assigned station within a multi-step production line.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on multi-station assembly lines.
- Familiarity with go/no-go testing procedures and basic product testing methods.
- Comfort working with hand tools and power tools in a production environment.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and productivity in a clean, organized, and climate-controlled facility.

Work Environment
This role is based in a first-shift schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The facility is extremely clean, well-lit, organized, and fully climate controlled, providing a comfortable and stable environment year-round. The site features a state-of-the-art cafeteria, and soda and water are provided at no cost to employees. The production area supports electrical and mechanical assembly work with access to tools such as drills, torque wrenches, and testing equipment. Employees follow a practical dress code that requires jeans, steel-toe boots, and a t-shirt without obscene graphics, aligning with safety and professionalism standards on the shop floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franksville, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
