Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational setting beginning in early September and extending through mid-December. This onsite position is tailored for a passionate Physical Therapist eager to make an impact across multiple schools within central and surrounding areas. With a flexible .8 to 1 FTE schedule, you’ll provide essential therapy services to a diverse caseload ranging from PreK through age 22.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold an active Washington State Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Current ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
• Experience providing PT services in a school environment
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable serving a varied student population (PreK – young adults)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical therapy needs and develop tailored intervention plans
• Deliver PT services individually and in small groups within the assigned schools
• Prepare required documentation and maintain student progress records
• Collaborate with teachers, IEP teams, and families to support student outcomes
• Adjust therapy approaches based on progress, needs, and best practices
• Travel between designated school sites within the assignment area as needed
