Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit during overnight shifts
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and respond to changes in patient condition
• Perform IV insertions and manage PICC lines
• Accurately document patient information and clinical assessments using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Minimum of 18 months of telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency in IV insertion and PICC line management
• Experience with Meditech charting system
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS and NIHSS certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced hospital telemetry environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
