About the Role:

The PRN Fitness Instructor plays a vital role in promoting health and wellness by delivering high-quality fitness instruction on an as-needed basis. This position focuses on designing and leading engaging exercise sessions tailored to diverse client needs, ensuring safety and effectiveness. The instructor will motivate participants to achieve their personal fitness goals while fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as the role requires working varied hours to meet fluctuating client demands. Ultimately, the PRN Fitness Instructor contributes to enhancing the overall well-being of individuals and communities through expert guidance and support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in leading fitness classes or personal training sessions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds and fitness levels.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialized certifications in areas such as group fitness, yoga, Pilates, or strength training.
• Experience working with different populations.
• Familiarity with fitness technology and software for tracking client progress.
• Additional certifications in nutrition or wellness coaching.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate clients' physical condition and tailor exercise programs accordingly.
• Lead group and individual fitness classes, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed.
• Provide motivation, encouragement, and feedback to help clients achieve their fitness objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and attendance.
• Stay current with industry trends, fitness techniques, and safety standards to continuously improve instructional quality.

Skills:

The PRN Fitness Instructor utilizes strong interpersonal and communication skills daily to engage and motivate clients effectively. Expertise in exercise science and program design enables the instructor to create safe, customized workouts that meet individual needs. Time management and adaptability are essential to accommodate varying schedules and client availability. Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response ensures a secure environment during all fitness activities. Additionally, proficiency with fitness tracking tools supports monitoring client progress and adjusting programs to optimize results.
