Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care in a busy ER setting, delivering high-quality patient care during 12-hour night shifts. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and efficient flow of emergency services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions on arrival, prioritize care based on acuity, and develop treatment plans.
• Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions according to protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to hospital policies and infection control standards.
• Respond effectively to urgent and emergent situations, including rapid intervention and code response.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrated experience with GE monitors and Meditech EMR.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
