Create scalable data pipelines, optimizing data storage solutions, and ensure data integrity and security in the CAE C/HPC environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Support the development of open architectures and applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms to ensure they are best suited for Cloud deployment and consumption.Support the adoption of Cloud best practices and supporting technologies to enable such capabilities as Big Data/Analytics, design, development, troubleshoot, and implementation of cloud solutionsZettabyte TechnologiesWork closely with the Information Technology Security team to ensure the applications and solutions designed and deployed are secure and compliant.Effectively Interface with Customer personnel at varying organizational levelsMust be self-motivated and expected to work independently with minimal supervisionReport status on tasks and assignmentsMust be able to generate preliminary and detailed designs as required for enhancements or modifications to existing designs, requiring the application of current industry design concepts and utilization of basic technical writing skills.Must be able to perform effectively as part of a project "team".Experience with several of the following tools and Platforms Docker, Linux, VMware, Condor, Large Data Storage.Monitoring SoftwareCommunicate with Upper and Mid-level ManagementManage High Performance Computing EnvironmentsActive Directory AdministrationNetwork AdministrationQualifications and Education RequirementsBA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field required.Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure, Storage, Security, Windows, Linux, etc.) for both on premise and cloud resourcesMinimum of 5+ years networking and server operating system experienceMinimum of 5+ years experience in container management technologies like Docker and KubernetesExperience using a source code repository such as GitExperience using a defect management system such as JiraExperience using Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting languagesProven success in a fast-paced development environment and possess a willingness to take ownership, accept accountability, and thrive under pressureStrong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.Proven track record of building relationships, fostering collaboration and working cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teamsDue to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.Preferred SkillsBelow is a list of skills that would greatly help the candidate succeed and thrive in this environment.Ability to work well in a team environmentExcellent communications skillsAbility to self-task and explore areas for improvement on their ownSecurity ResponsibilitiesMust comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
