Position: Assembler

Adecco Staffing is currently assisting a local client in hiring a Assembler in Normal, IL. We are looking for an ideal candidate with manufacturing or mechanical experience, team-oriented mindset, and reliable work ethic.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6 am to 3:30 pm

• 2nd Shift: 6:30 pm to 3 am

Role Summary

In this role, you will assemble mechanical components according to customer specifications and work instructions while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts per work instructions and customer specifications

• Inspect parts and identify defects Inspect assembled components and identify defects or quality issues

• Operate hand tools and basic assembly equipment safely and effectively

• Read and follow production labels, work instructions, and standard operating procedures

• Follow all safety and quality procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership

Preferred Background

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Team-oriented mindset and reliable work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand between 8 and 10 hours per day and walk up to 5 hours per day

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance

• Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and fine finger dexterity

• Ability to stoop, reach, push, and pull as needed

• Good vision (including color vision), hearing, and speaking ability

Pay Details: $18.00 to $18.50 per hour
