Maintenance AssistantLaunch your career in maintenance and engineering at JLL!The Maintenance Assistant supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. The Maintenance Assistant will work under supervision and focus on working safely. This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field.Estimated total compensation for this position: $18.35 per hourThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.Schedule: Monday -Friday 8:30 AM- 5 PMResponsibilitiesAssist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipmentAssist with general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or paintingComplete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintains appropriate service documentationMaintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditionsWork closely under the direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers and othersParticipate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programsSupport on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)Other projects and tasks to be assignedPreferred QualificationsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfort using ladders up to 30 feet tallAbility to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or driveStrong customer service skillsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
