Opportunity:


RN - Clinic


Job Details:


• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a rotating half day off each week
• No weekend rotation, on-call, or holiday expectations
• Fast-paced cardiology clinic environment seeing patients every 15 minutes
• Average patient census of 24-60 patients per day
• Treat adult patients with conditions including CHF, chest pain, pre/post Cath Lab, post-CABG, post-valve replacements, pulmonary hypertension, peripheral artery disease, EP patients, and stress tests
• Perform authorization of procedures, entering orders, patient education, in-basket management, and phone triage
• Call patients with abnormal lab results and manage EKGs
• Place Holter and event monitors with education provided if no prior experience
• May occasionally administer IV dobutamine for stress tests
• Work with EMR system EPIC (preferred), Alaris IV pumps, Zio and Bardy monitors, and EKG machines
• Minimum 3 years of experience required; clinic, ICU/CVICU, Cath Lab, or Cardiac Stepdown experience accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Scrub color must be any solid color, professional with no graphics, logos, or designs
• Up to two weeks of orientation provided based on skillset and comfort level
• Free parking available on site


Facility:


This medical office building is located on site with a full-service hospital and houses multiple specialty clinics within the building. The cardiology clinic operates with a robust support team including medical assistants, LPNs, patient service representatives, a lead nurse, and a manager/supervisor, alongside 5 cardiologists, 1 EP MD, and 4 NP/PA providers. The clinic is equipped with modern technology and maintains a structured, team-oriented environment to support high-quality patient care.
