Our client is an established manufacturing company supporting a high-volume production environment. The organization is focused on safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while maintaining reliable plant operations. They are currently looking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$92,366 - $120,000 Annually (Depending on experience)
Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead maintenance operations in a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, reducing equipment downtime, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities Of The Maintenance Supervisor
Supervise and coordinate maintenance personnel and contractors.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of equipment issues and plant downtime.
Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures.
Assist with maintenance planning, scheduling, and work prioritization.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, and leadership teams to support production goals.
Maintain maintenance records and equipment data.
Coordinate parts, tools, and vendor support for maintenance activities.
Support employee training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage employee timekeeping and overtime tracking.
Required Experience/Skills For The Maintenance Supervisor
3+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and CMMS systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience leading and developing maintenance teams.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills For The Maintenance Supervisor
Technical degree or engineering background.
Hands-on maintenance or skilled trades experience.
Experience supporting industrial equipment and manufacturing operations.
Experience working in a union environment.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
Relevant industrial, maintenance, or technical experience will be considered.
